Parador de Melilla *** - On a hill overlooking the city and with a marvellous view of the coast. The city is old and fortified with extensive stretches of golden sands. Parador 'Don Pedro de Estopinan', is named after a knight commander of the Ducal house of Medina-Sidonia, who conquered the town in 1497. The old town has walls of the 16th century perfectly preserved. There are spectacular churches to see, as well as monumental bridges and architecture. (Added: 27-Sep-2005 Hits: 40)
