Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo - Salamanca Province **** - In the Castle Alcazar of Enrique II de Trastamara surrounded by the defensive medieval wall. The entrance is gothic and bears the Royal coat of arms. The castle stands on a hill in the heart of the town near the banks of the river agueda. The 'alcazar', a moorish fortress, is an imposing building with a beautiful garden.
